Last weekend I was able to get out for two days of cross-country skiing in both Leavenworth and Plain Washington.  The proximity of the snow-covered mountains against the sky reminded me of the phrase bluer than blue.

I love getting away from the crowds and outside into a quiet, peaceful setting on cross-country skis.  Two days in a row skiing helped me to feel some lesser used arm muscles 🙂

I stopped to listen for the wind whistling through the trees and birds calling to each other.

This weekend, get outside and move your body in an activity that you enjoy!
