Move Outside

A strategy for moving more is to move your workouts outside. The benefits are significant for your overall fitness level. “Get moving outside everyday”.

When I am ready to move, the first place I head is out the door. For many of us, our favorite place to be active is outdoors. Even if it is raining!

 

  • Walk your dog
  • Bike
  • Jog in a city park
  • Garden
  • Hike up a mountain

 

Being active outdoors is good for body and soul and there is research that for some it may be easier to stick with and be more consistent with a fitness routine. You may also get some needed sunshine unless you live in the Pacific Northwest.

Move outside rain or shine!
