Sleep Recovery

The most common reasons for being “Sleepless in Seattle” for me are a brain that will not turn off, aches and pains or more than one glass of wine.  In the morning when you arise “Follow recovery strategies after a sleepless night”.  A long nap or early bedtime may prevent you from getting back into your healthy schedule so beware!

  • Eat a protein with a carbohydrate for breakfast (Such as caprese eggs and a piece of fruit)
  • Hydrate with cold water
  • Drink your coffee slowly through the morning
  • Move outside for a short walk after lunch
