Find your path

I just love walking on this path between my house and neighbor Mike’s.  It reminds me of those paths described in children’s literature such as Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood, only not scary.  I remember walking along these paths with my sons when they were little so they could see all of the interesting things living and growing in the woods around our cabin.  I also remember going off of the path to blaze a trail to roads nearby our property. Now as young adults they are blazing their own trails.

“Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence.” ~ Henry David Thoreau

“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
