My rainy photos last weekend were filled with every shade of green.  I also spotted these mushrooms along the road.  The white and the purple against the green background caught my eye and the yellow made me think of the sun. I hope to get a little sunshine this week!

The salal plant pictured below, is everywhere along the roads I bike.  It is used in flower arrangements and has a yummy fall fruit that looks like a blueberry. Perfect for pancakes!

The nettle plant has medicinal properties , but just take care not to rub up against it since you will feel a stinging sensation that is a strong irritant to your skin.

It amazes me how many beautiful photos I was able to take on such a cloudy, rainy day!
