It has been almost a month since I have done any blogging, as I have been focusing on taking time to get outside to work my body and soothe my spirit. My last blog post was the morning I left for Hawaii. The view flying over Vashon Island was special. The Burton Peninsula sits inside of Quartermaster Harbor.  Maury Island is a tied island that is connected to Vashon Island by an isthmus built by local homeowners in 1913. (from Wikipedia)

My bag was packed and my toes were ready to wade in the water and slide across the sand!

Ahhh-the first sunset on Kauai!  These are the type of sunsets that take your breath away and help you find your awe!
