Keep A Focus on Yourself
Ten years ago I experienced a health and wellness crisis. Due to the perfect storm of events, I had given up connecting with myself. I lost focus and could not admit to myself I needed to reevaluate my priorities and participate in those experiences that fed my spirit and made me happy and fulfilled. Connecting with yourself is a vital piece of living a healthy lifestyle. Health and wellness is multi-dimensional and an ongoing process. By putting ourselves first, we can maintain our own personal health and wellness foundation.
One of my priorities is getting outside to move in nature everyday!
Two weeks ago I had a total hip replacement. My progressing osteoarthritis was weakening my daily living skills and negatively impacting my ability to participate in all of those activities I love. The time had come!
