Preparing and/or enjoying a healthy meal outdoors

There is nothing like eating outdoors. Food just seems to taste better when eaten outside on a day with the sun shining and a breeze blowing. Plan ahead to take advantage of the opportunity to have or share a meal outside. Try a:

  • Picnic in a park
  • Lunch on the lawn during the workday
  • Cooking and eating over a campfire,
  • Barbecuing in the backyard.

It should be pretty nice this weekend so I plan to get outside for a picnic before the Seattle weather moves back to the gloomy gray.  This is baked halibut I prepared in my condo kitchen and took out to eat on my itty bitty city deck!
