Many famous people have died from prescription drug abuse or misuse.  Here are just a few who passed too soon:

There has been much speculation regarding his cause of death and autopsy reports are pending, however signs are now indicating that Prince was addicted to painkillers he used to alleviate a decade long problem with his hips.  I was given these flowers for no occasion by someone who knows how much I love the color purple.  They reminded me of the musical genius Prince.
