Happy New Year 2017-Woods in the winter

One of my favorite ways to move is to take a hike.  You really do not have to stop hiking once it snows if you just strap on some snowshoes. It is such a “cool” way to connect with nature in the winter months.  The experience is totally different!

Snowshoeing is so peaceful and quiet.

  1. Alice and I were talking…we think it’d be fun to come visit you in Leavenworth in the snow, too!

  2. Jan, I really admire how you go out on your own and exercise. I actually get antsy and really want to go out and do something physical, but I have a hard time doing it by myself. I would be a lot more active if I just got up and went. I really struggle with this. I guess that’s what I need to focus on.

    • You are not alone Clara! Many of my clients struggle with this same thing. Consider finding an “exercise buddy” to contact that would join you for your workouts. It could be a friend or relative (spouse, niece:).
