I love to get cooking in my kitchen. For me it is all about wanting to prepare and eat “real food”. During the holidays many tend to spend more time in their kitchens and in our family we have a number of December birthdays, so we really get cooking!
And I believe there should be a sweet treat at the end of a meal! Some of my favorites from 2016:
Crepes with poached pears and Leavenworth’s Schocolat pear/caramel sauce!
Fresh berries with spiced creme fraiche!
Or maybe just a little dark chocolate:)
As my family can attest to, I am hooked on dessert’s with fruit or chocolate. This birthday dessert included Grace’s favorite ice cream!
