Fall at the beach
There is nothing quite like a beach walk on a brisk fall day. The smell of the salty sea air and the cry of the swooping seagulls while picking your way across the slippery rocks of a northwest beach is a great way to clear your head. If you bend down and turn over a rock, you just mind find one of these little creatures pictured in my featured photo. Just remember to put the rock back in place after checking out those little crustaceans.
One of my sons could spend hours on the beach when he was young. He would pick up anything, including large Dungeness crabs that could grab a little finger and clamp down like a vise-grip. Ouch!
Bundle up and get outside!
