We got a workout climbing the stairs to the Cape Point Lighthouse while sight-seeing at the Cape of Good Hope near the “end of the world”!

Grilled Springbok (antelope) and ostrich at our Airbnb after a day of touring and wine tasting was just what the weary travelers needed.  My son challenged me to create a complex desert from the cookbook he had purchased for me from one of the wineries we visited.  I chose to make apple and pear crepes which were not that difficult to make.  The perfect meal for ending our stay in South Africa!
